Climbing Season and Weather on Ararat

Mid June to mid September is the best time climbing season for Ararat Mountain. The temprature on camp two usally getting very cold after sunset, Ararat is not a technical peak but cold winds and high altitude make this an excellent choice for climbers interested in making an ascent of this historical peak.

Everybody without much hiking experience is strongly advised to tackle the mountain during this climbing season. The great time to Ararat Ski Touring (March and April).
